Hi I am new to the Forum. Great response to the situation. I do watch the RVM, sometimes not often enough. Been hit twice from the back by those not paying attention (company vehicle) always been someone in front of me with no place to go. But I kept my cool more concerned about how they were doing.

-When I'm backing up. (Side mirros)
- When I'm changing lanes.
-When I hear something good coming up along side me.
-After I've been speeding and I take an instintive look in the rearview for blue flashing lights.
-And sometimes just whenever.

every 15 sec or less
however my wife neither uses a mirror or a speedodmeter
she says she doesn't care about who is behind her and she never speeds.

i constantly check. i try to keep up with who is where and how fast they are approaching. if you are aware of the cars that are arround you, you have a better chance of avoiding an accident if something suddenly happens near you.
