Im about to purchase a 92 C4 Coupe. Its got about 70k miles - everything on the car is in fantastic shape except the windshield.
See below - it looks like milk inside the glass - is this a common issue with this year Vette? Is this repairable or do I need to replace the glass? If I have to replace - can anyone suggest a good place in PA (Allentown area) or share a ball park what new glass will cost me?

Find out who is experienced with Corvette glass in your area and get an estimate. I had my 91's windshield replaced due to a crack. The installer said that
my insurance was charged $500 for material and labor.
Be aware that not all glass shops are aware of how to replace a C4 windshield properly.

Safelite will do them, but the C4 is unique, far as WS replacement goes.
I ended up being directed to a specific shop in the Chicago area to have it done by a tech familiar with the C4s.
As it happened, I had provided my own (Corvette Glass) rubber replacement, and brought some 3-M Adhesive Remover, scrapers and wire brushes, as the metal strips were needed to be reused, as it turned out. (So, I cleaned them up while the tech was prepping the car for the new glass. Good thing I had the "stuff" ready to go.)
I got away from there only paying $275 (two year ago), and the glass is perfect then and now! Happy I am! (In my best Yoda voice).
Make sure you go to a good shop. Safelite did mine and I wound up with a floorboard full of water after it rained. It had to be completely disassembled and professionally cleaned from top to bottom. Then it had to go to a new shop to get the old windshield cut out and a new one put it. The one safelite put in wasn't even shaped properly. It is worth your time and money to take it to a corvette specific shop or risk not having your car for 2 months as a dealer tries to source parts. Sorry, rant over haha
I'm taking it to a local glass guy who has been in business for 20 years...and he swears up and down he knows how to do the C4 glass/molding and has done many of them... He's charging me $270 out the door.
Its going in Saturday to get done - Ill let you know how it goes...
