Being that you have to get an automatic, I'd go with an lt1 over an l98. With C4s, it's usually the newer, the better. 95-96 would be your best bet. Interior is much more refined, gremlins are mostly worked out, plus you get the vented opti. Under the glove box, there is a series of codes. Look for "G92". It has a better gear ratio so it makes the automatic feel ALOT better. It is somewhat rare however. Good luck!
This. It makes all the difference in the world. It actually accelerates like you'd expect from a Corvette. We're talking more than a full second difference 0-60.
[QUOTE=ihatebarkingdogs;1593690078]Beware that replacing the BCM in a 90-96 with a new one will reset the odometer to zero, or if a used BCM, the mileage of the replacement will now be on the odometer. While the mileage of the old BCM can be uploaded into the replacement, it wasn't always done. /QUOTE]
Here in Jersey the title will show the mileage when a vehicle changes hands. Carfax also shows mileage every year it is registered and inspected in some states.
Its kind of hard to justify doc mileage that doesn't support the odometer.
