Funny thing about my 92 coupe. It's parked in the garage and my DD is outside. I use the garage remote in my DD to enter the house usually. When I take the Vette out, I grab the remote from my DD and hop in the Vette. After I back out, the remote won't work. It works perfectly in the DD. When I shut the Vette motor off, the remote works. Any ideas?
If you get a buzz or a fast "pop-pop-pop" that increases with rpm, there's a good chance you have a bad spark-plug wire with a spark gap break in it. Bad wires will burn themselves out from the inside until the gap gets wide enough to either not fire the plug any more (miss) or it will arc through the wire to some place on the engine; another miss but you'll probably be able to hear the snap of the spark with the hood open.
