Sorry for all the threads all the sudden. I have searched all over the internet and haven't found the solution other then sending it off to have it repaired. When i got my car this weekend the CD player is just dead, wont except a cd and doesn't even act like it is on or has power. The radio works just fine and speakers are good as well. Any thoughts or how to videos?

Mine was (is) still stock so I wanted to keep the Bose. My radio worked but the amps in both rear speakers were dead. (common) www.carstereeohelp.com 800 428-1909 in FL has videos but removing the system is not easy. I have since had to have them rebuild a front amp! This at under 30000 miles. I tried my CD player, it sucked in the disc but did not play and would not eject the disc either for a couple hours. Until it ejected the disc the radio would not play. I never tried the cassette player. I don't want to test fate so I just listen to the radio. Depends on how far you want to go and spend!
My CD player is also shot. I have one of these little gizmos, works really well. I'm a bit of an audiophile and not typically a fan of bluetooth sound, but this one is pretty good. Plugs right in to the lighter port, synchs to an unused FM station, and plays music right from my iPhone. Plus, it has a USB charger.
It's highly rated, and for $25, you can't beat it.

My CD works but this is freaking awesome! Got the exact same device and I love it.
