While researching the benefits of Asparagus for a friend(with leukemia), I discovered that it doesn't offer the detoxifying benefits to those with leukemia like it does for most other things. In fact it has a detrimental effect on the drugs used to fight leukemia. So it's a food to avoid in those cases.
Like most kids, I hated that stuff. Good news for Zach! Tell him he doesn't have to eat asparagus!
Prayers sent for you both.
I had a friend who beat cancer. He told me later how he thinks he did it (along with chemo ofcourse). He told me he imagines little warriors floating through his body to attack the bad guys as he is falling asleep. In the morning and throughout the day, every time he took a leak he would imagine the dead bad guys being drained from his system.
He thinks that his visualizing his body fighting the foreign invaders in conjunction with the help of the chemo, he beat it.
This is what a community is for to support each other and celebrate the joys and sorrows life sends us. Stay strong and be the healing light your grandson and family needs.
God bless and prayers sent.
Praying for Zachary for a healing. I believe that our Lord and Savior Jesus received the stripes on His back for our healing. The Bible declares: "By His stripes you were healed"
Also praying for you and the rest of your family that the Lord will bless and keep you and yours.
