The only 93 that could be remotely limited production would be the ZR-1 or the 40th ruby cars.

the only thing I can think of that's remotely "rare, but not limited" is a doug rippie, black widow ZR-1. I'm thinking about 8 were produced in 1993, but i'm also thinking they were not a RPO thing (???).
I agree...she is probably speaking of 1983...wasn't there like a dozen or so cars made but GM destroyed all but one?
The Bowling Green Assembly Plant built something like 44 of the 1983 models. All were used for testing and then destroyed except for one. That car is on display at the National Corvette Museum.

Yes I remember seeing it there when I visited the NCM in 2014...with its unique wheels.
