Probably the contacts in the key cylinder. Have to remove the steering wheel, turn signal switch, and the contacts pull out. The bottom of the turn sig switch has two contacts that press on the key contacts. Tan and lt green wires.
Because it goes off when the door closes, its not the switch in the door jamb. If you just want it to be off all the time, go under the dash and find the big connector to the turn signal switch. De-pin either the lt green or the tan wire, and tape it off. No more key-chime.
