As popular as the "regular" Corvette is, there's been talk of and a desire for a mid-engine Corvette for decades. It's taken the form of daydreams, sketches, renderings, and concept cars, such as the 1990 Corvette Nivola from Bertone.

Yeah, it's not my thing either but when cars of the future are all self driving, I guess none of it will matter.

Back in the day I liked the lower photo version better, not so sure today. Notice how the lower photo has exposed windshield wipers; the 70 cuda (& other 1970 cars) solved that problem pretty well.

Hmmm, An Italian styling house designing a Corvette is like Michalangelo farming out the Sistine Chapel to a bunch of dope smoking Illegals with spray cans from the barrio in south Los Angeles.....

It does look badass. Very unique too. But its also pretty ugly. That chance was taken with the Countach and I doubt another car could have pulled it off
