Engine and heads are basicly new. Ive had this car running and driving, however its sat so long one of the valves has stuck from the engine being new and tight. we can pull a valvecover off to show you if you like.
New rubber on it a few years back.Car has just sat for many years, will need towed I've had it running a couple years back.
I put new injectors in it,
has a rebuilt atari cluster
Car has new rubber on it a few years back and it has sat so long that the valves stuck? Oh, never mind. He is talking about the pack of Trojan Condoms he put on it.
Engine stuck from being new and tight? First I heard that was an issue unless it was tight from incorrectly sized parts. So if I bought a rebuilt motor, it is going to be stuck because it is basically new and tight? Waht exactly will pulling the valvecover tell me? Besides the heap of dirt would be more mobile than the car, that is.
Great. New injectors with varnish all over the pintles.
Rebuilt cluster and the dash looks like hell. Sure.
PS, he forgot to mention the "Easy Battery Access" feature of the car.
Seller is delusional. Seriously saying "PRICE IS BOTTOM DOLLAR CASH. lowballers dont waste your time,IF YOU OFFER LESS I will expect to keep parts of the car." What's he thinking of keeping? The "new" cluster that sat out in the weather for years.
very common thinking to non corvette people, that and the body explodes in a wreck
We used to see people getting shot by a shotgun and fly through the window although physics would disagree. Car goes off a cliff and sometimes you even see them explode into a fireball in mid air. The better ones hit the ground and explode. Blame Hollywood.
The buyer seems to want it in the hands of someone who will make it work again.
I suspect it will take $20k to make it worth $9k.
That Doug Nash transmission scares me away from it.
Low ballers stay away ? ....no worries there buckaroo.
This reminds me of the VW beetle I bought from a junk yard with all new metal, running engine and no interior or paint; a 75 VW bus I bought from a neighbors back yard with a blown engine; the 72Yamaha 200 cycle bought from a barn sale; the 76 Suzuki RM 125 that was recently rebuilt but didn't run today; the 65 Triumph spitfire that ran on 3 cylinders and just needed a head refresh. All were purchased through rose colored glasses, in the days of my youth. They soaked up some time and were eventually released to the next dreamer. In the days of my youth the 84 C4 would be on its way to my garage. Not any more. I'll leave it for the next guy.
