I recently purchased the TTR anti flex support bar for my Vette. This thing is great!! At least in my car it really stiffens the entire car when I take the top off. As a matter of fact its actually tigther than the solid top. Prior to having it I didn't really like taking the top off because of the resulting body flex. Its a bit of a pain installing the first time and theres no place to put it when you have the solid top on, otherwise, I rate it a good buy. I don't have a pic of my car with it on, but here's what it looks like
Sure there is. Leave the front facing forward and just set it in the back. The back will rest in the lower section and the front will rest on the raised area. There is an ever so slight feature that keeps it from moving. I keep mine in the car all the time and it's never shifted a millimeter.
It's funny when people look at it and try to figure out who it stiffens the car just laying in the back    I've had at least 3 people ask me what purpose it serves.
I tried that but I didn't like the pressure points on the carpet and also wish there was an easy way to bolt it down, would hate to worry about that thing flyin' around loose in an accident.
I love my Lt4, but hate to drive it with the top off. I also hate the thought of spending $399 (or whatever) to stiffen the car up when GM had 12 years to get it right and didn't.
Makes for double the work of taking the top off and putting the support bar in and vis-a-versa.
