Is it a mechanical or an electronic flasher. If you are running LED taillights or blubs you need an electronic flasher for them to work properly
Thanks goldcylon I'll try that one I'll see what happens thanks a bunch I'll post and let you know how i made out i appreciate it
Goldcylon i really appreciate it you saved my day i called a few parts stores here in RI and i ended up getting one not the one you showed me a picture of anyway if anyone has the same problem as i had where nthe flasher would keep clicking as soon as i woul turn the ignition and even when i started the car it would keep clicking weird anyway thanks a bunch from (GOLDCYLON) they should get one from Auto Zone their part# EL-12 its one of those see through flashers you can actually see all the guts in the inside i put it in today and bang works like a charm
I tried several different electronic flasher styles (with and without ground wire) on different cars with mixed results.
On the MOPAR forum I was recommended the JDM electronic flasher -- it worked on every application I have without fail (Ford, GM and Dodge). This unit does not have a ground wire. It has a crisp click with a perfect flash rate and no hyperflash.
