My passenger window will not go up or down. I used my test light to check the switch and all but two wires are hot when the key is in the on position, brown and grey, the rest have power. What color wires do what? I feel like I hear a click in the door when I accurate the switch. It used to work from the driver side switch when I got the car and I pulled the passenger switch out to mess with it and it started working again. Any help appreciated
The FSM would be your friend in this situation. It would help to post some pictures along with the color of the wires in addition to the year of your car and any pertinent particulars.

Hope you can blow this up enough to be of some use. From my 96 FSM.
Made up a little saying to help me remember how the switch works: GROUND on Brown, the window goes Down. GROUND on Blue, it goes UP for you.

Reason: add the stupid poem.
Messed around with the window switch today. Took the panel off and found the connector that runs to the motor, brown, blue and black. When the switch isn't touched both the blue and brown wires have power, and depending on how you move the switch it turns off power to each wire, Since the seems to be working, then it must be the motor is bad?
Mine had a broken spring on one of the motor brushes. Moisture rusted it and it broke releasing tension on the motor brush. Simple fix for the motor,(if it was only not inside the door) but what a hell of a time getting the little motor in and out of the door frame!

Yeah, I noticed that when I pulled the panel. Makes you wish for C3s!

I'm thinking it has to do with my motor. I have tried a new switch and still the same result. Need to get the panel off the door and take a look at it. I will update as soon as I get that done.
