Ever try taking the Targa top off after your C4 has been sitting in the sun? Then you know it is almost impossible to grab a hold of without burning the skin off your palms!
Well, if you have removable cotton seatbelt covers like i do, simply take them off and use them to grip the sides of the targa top! You wont burn your hands and you wont get nasty finger prints on it either.
Maybe just carry a pair of gloves (Mechanix or similar) in the car and put them on when you remove the hot top. They will also work if you would ever have to do any sort of roadside repair.

I use to own a C3 and there were days when you couldn't open the doors. touching those damn chrome door handles that were out in the hot sun for any time would burn your finger tips right off.
Here in Oz with our big *** hole in the ozone layer, if it's too hot to touch the roof, it's too hot to drive without it unless you're looking for major sunburn.
I actually prefer driving on a warm Summers night with the roof off.
Crank the music up....really magic.
