Thanks I appreciate your input
My answer is SURE . I need to start with a sample C5-C7 Top , damaged or not , for the latching mechanism. Then incorporate my design . When I filed my Patent I included :
The Hinging and Design can be incorporated into any " Targa type vehicle "
Thanks again

I'm interested in one when/if it goes into production. Any idea on what the cost may be?

Designer, With the hinge(s) in your top, does your roof allow for the bracing similar tor the heavy targa tops?
Looking forward to seeing more, do you have a ballpark price?

Thanks very good question
From an engineering comparison. If you take a solid Targa top, cut it in half and apply hinges to it, the answer to your question is no it will not help in the bracing. A convertible top cannot correct the structural chassis problem for bracing and stability. The bracing of the chassis needed to be done when the car was first produced. However I designed this top to be Very strong using quality materials : 6061 aluminum and stainless steel fasteners.
I know you've been asking for approximate prices. Quantity is the key in pricing still working on the details will have pricing shortly

I have been attending Corvette Weekend in Eureka Springs, Arkansas the last two years and many come from Texas for the event. Any chance of coming to that in October?

The reason I have gone was to enter the fuel economy run. I was disqualified last year because my odometer went out with my dash due to a ASR/ABS problem and couldn't verify my mileage. Still working on that problem. If I get it fixed will be coming again. It is amazing what these cars can get.
Take a look at there web site and maybe try and attend sometime in the future.
