Well I'm cleaning the garage to make room for the vette.
Got a timeline for Monday afternoon.
Got a text today that it should be unburied by then.
Will post pics when I see it.

Love that colour, obviously.

What interior colour do you have? If other than gray I would love some pictures.

Thanks guys, haven't tried starting it yet.
Do these have a drain on the fuel tank ?
So far gave it a wash and just checking stuff out.
Lots of scratches from stuff being stored on it.....
Hoping most of them will rub out.
Still the original tires and maybe battery.

Well I got the old gas out, fresh premium in.
Changed the fuel filter and blew out the lines.
A fresh oil change, and checked all the fluids..
And she fired up on the 3rd 3sec long crank

I took a little ride thru the sub that night.
Then got the insurance and temp plates yesterday.
Put around 20 miles on it.... and so far so good no leaks or overly strange noise's.
Had a rotational noise... but went away too fast to figure out.
I can see an old oil stain on the a/c compressor so hoping it was that.
Belt, air filter, and wipers came today from Rock auto.
Pricing out tires on the web right know...

Any recommendations for tires ?

Was looking At BFG Sport comp 2 but on back order...
Now thinking of Continental extreme Contac's.

I run the Continental Extreme Contact DW. Good handling and riding tires. Beautiful vette, love the color.

I run Michelin PS2's. They're a little pricey but ride smooth as glass and stick like glue. I chose them because I have PSS on my 01 BMW that I've had since new and the car never rode or handled better until I got those tires.

Well I have been busy working on the Vette, but slacking on updating this thread!
Got about 50 miles on it with the 25 yr. old tires. (drove terrible )
I ended up finding the BFG G-Force Comp 2s. (big improvement)
Got about another 50 miles on it and I found the rotational noise I heard when I 1st started it.
The water pump started leaking on the dist. cap........ So parked it while I waited on parts.
New pump, 160 thermostat, and coolant temp. sensor, and cap & rotor.
