Default Cluster maintenance

Question C4 family, I have a '92 and the speedometer isn't working, just wanted to pick someone's brain about the direction I should take.

We'll need more information; does it illuminate and does not register the speed; can you not see the numbers at all; what about the rest of the readout? Does the gas gage and information light? Are you sure its not just the lighting? Mine virtually disappears under certain lighting conditions. Check the dimmer. Mine was down.

The main thing i know is that the gas gauge doesn't work, the does not register spees either. All the other gauges work on the right side. 73n95, i really wanted soneone to recommend a place to send it too. I'm located in Dallas, Tx by the way, thank for the response though.

Check out Batee.com
You'll likely find a lot of info there on your instrument cluster.

You're more than welcome. I had problems with mine the first year I bought my 86. I found the problem on the Batee site. I'm not that competent with a soldering iron (in my case it was the connector between the boards) so I sent it in and Bryan fixed it. Some of the best money spent, it's worked great ever since.

I had him change out the bulbs right away to Xenon's right away, so it would be cooler and prevent future issues due to heat like happened in the first place with the oem bulbs.
