I had a low end miss, one day the miss was really bad to the point the car died. since then I have no electrical power. only the headlights work. No ignition, no fuel, no dinger when key is in, no power to windows.
You could clean and then tighten the battery cables and check the cable ends at starter and neg. Making sure the plastic battery cable ends do not interfear with good connection at battery.
wondering if the car wasn't running on battery power till it used it up..alternater failure? try charging it, if it starts , check your electrical out put on the dash gauge if nothing else. best of luck

Yeah but he says that nothing else works including the motor EXCEPT the headlights. Bad battery wouldn't do that.
It might be at the block near the battery where all of the fusible link circuits are attached. That could cause the problem if the line feeding the lights was still connected ok but the others were loose or corroded.
