Probably going bad, I had to replace both mine a while back. They get wet where they are and OEM horns seem to fail because of that (at least mine). I got 2 at Autozone and been installed for 10+ years without issue, easy job to do as the horns are right in the open on each side of the radiator.
I had some issues with my horn (also a 92) working only when I pressed the button a certain way. When I had the wheel apart for a turn signal issue, I found some corrosion on the contacts. There pretty easy to clean.
