Hi all. I have a 93 LT1 coupe. I have some error codes in the ECM that are history, and would like to remove them. I tried the steps from Corvette Central and no go. My mechanic tried unplugging the positive battery lead, but no go. Any ideas on how to do this?
And if anyone out there knows how to fix a module 7 "Err" error, I am VERY interested. Or just take it in to the mechanic.
Thanks for the help.
I am beginning to think the car is jinxed. I followed the video instructions on clearing the codes, but it only worked for module 4. I still get C25, H25, C72 and H72 in module 1. I noted one thread that the ECM may be bad. Frustrating!
What will it take to get you to go see a mechanic with the proper tools to fix the problems. The nine years I had my 94 I tried the paper clip method several times with little to no success. But every time I would take my car to a mechanic that had the proper scanner I was always able to find the code fix the car and clear the codes. You might clear the current codes but not the history codes without the scanner
