Headlight Conversion

I am thinking about converting my old sealed beams on my '85 with some of the new LED or HID units. Has anybody done this? Advice on what or what not to buy welcomed.

Thanks for the link! I have CorvetteHID's and I am looking to get rid of them. The high beams stopped working completely and the low beams come on, but if I turn them off & then back on, they don't work. I was concerned about the LED's not being as good, but after reading your review, I think that I've found my solution, thanks.

So far, if you follow the thread, you need to get the resistors mounted. They come in a pair and work well. Life is good and bright.
