Remember, every little bit helps. Maybe the cut lid will give you 2 HP, 1ft/lb BUT if you think about it, any number can be divided by two. You can port and polish your heads, let's say that gives you 50 HP. Well 25 free mods with 2 HP gains will equal that. 2 HP is 2 HP, and as always, more is better.
