Default In honor of 130k

I rolled over 130k on the odometer the other day. She's a 95 convertible with stock motor and trans, she just has shorty headers and muffler deletes, all internals are stock. I will occasionally in a long stretch of road air her out, but very seldom do I do any WOT.
Well, as a way to celebrate I decided to stick my foot in it on a back road. To my amazement, she barked the rear tires shifting into second. She's a good ol car and a blast to drive. Just wanted to share , that's all.

Congrats. I like to see another high mile C4 being driven and enjoyed. I'm at 144K looking to hit that 145K milestone by the end of the summer.

I am about 900 miles away from 130,000 running like a dream.

I was looking for a post where anyone with over 100,000 miles chimed in to let everyone know how there's is doing and so on. Couldn't find one.

144,000 miles here, running beautifully. 1996 LT4 with the original Opti. I did replace the cap and rotor while I was repairing the leaky front crank seal and swapped in a Hot Cam at the same time. I've done the routine maintenance like plugs, wires, and fluids, no major issues at all since I bought it 3.5 years and 30,000 miles ago.

I have a 96 Base Coupe with 125K in NorCal. All Stock except a stereo upgrade so I can go Bluetooth hands free and get aux inputs. Other than chasing some oil leaks, and fixing some routine stuff (headlight actuator pucks, A/C Programmer vacuum connector, cruise control vacuum leak, etc.) it's mechanically "bullet proof" in engine and driver train. I want to leave the engine stock, but change from the 2.59 ratio ring and pinion to the 3.07 ratio. Still love the car!! It's a blast to drive!!

130k? Dear lord...the car's virtually brand new!

That sounds like a real problem, to me. If my car had that issue, I would look into it right away and get it fixed. Hammer down!
