I dont think anyone was passing judgement on you. Im sure it was just a "ribbing"..... Your dedication and love to your wife is very commendable and a rarity in these times. Keep fighting the good fight and it all pays off in the end!!

I in no way thought anyone was insulting me nor did I take any offense to any comment. I try to live my life unoffended. I just wanted to share the real reason my lawn wasn't mowed yet and give a little insight into my life.

As one who's spouse has taken care of me during recovery from brain surgery, I commend you. 
I known it's hard at times, and I don't mean in physical terms. The typical vow, Love, Honor and Cherish is more than just a bunch of words.
Grass, on the other hand, is just some plants in your yard. Meh.
