C4 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019

Default August 2017 Calendar

August is a great month to visit The National Corvette Museum. Take your C4 to Bowling Green, KY. Take a spin on the track, tour the museum and schedule a visit of the Corvette factory to watch them being built.

This month's photo was provided by Callaway Chris 2.

Thank you very much. I enjoy making them and I get a kick out of hearing other people enjoy them, too. :

Isn't the corvette factory closed to the public for about 2 years?

How do you make the decision on which cars make it into the calendar?

From the NCM site:

PLANT TOURS

PLEASE NOTE: PLANT TOURS ARE UNAVAILABLE AS OF JUNE 16, 2016 AND RESUME IN 2019.

Tours of the Bowling Green Assembly Plant will be closed after June 16, 2017. It will be approximately 18 months (January 2019) before tours resume.

I never said when you should schedule your tour.

A lot of it is the photo is somehow connected with what's happening around the country each month.

Example: May = Pace Car / July = Red, White & Blue. So pics with flags in them happen often. / Fall scenes in Fall

Plus, I like to use a photo that has something interesting in it. A clear pic of a beautiful Corvette(s) with a pleasing background gets my attention.

Not any going on right now until January 2019, but the museum and their new track set-up is definitely worth visiting.

Who publishes your calendar? Have had an idea for a Corvette calendar for several years.

Hi, Fred.
I'm planning on going back in Sept. or Oct. Depends on my work schedule.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Glad to know he's making a recovery. Hope he heals quickly.

I think I will stick to 4 wheels to get around.

Solar eclipse today here in Indy with maximum coverage around 2:20 - 2:30 pm.
(Can't believe all the excitement on the news about it.)
