Well, while still on our trip in the C4, we had to weather a fast miving tropical depression. The C4 had to sit through it. This morning, even my seat belt is wet. All new weather stripping just a couple months ago...... not sure what to do.......
Might be wise to "test" the new weather stripping at a "brushless" car wash. I remember when I replaced my weather stripping in a '78 C3 I had the adjust the windows and doors so they would "seal" correctly.
I put in new weather stripping and have some leaks in really heavy rain, light rain it's fine, but I generally don't drive in the rain so I'm just living with it. For the number of years I've been on the forum it seems to be a common problem once weatherstripping is replaced.
So two suggestions, hose down (or car wash) to find the possible source or the leak and then see if adjustments can be made or just live with it.
The solution (which is a minor PITA) is to pop off your door panel and adjust the window. There is an "in/Out" adjustment on the top of the door frame. You can move your window in and out until you get proper seal.
Test by closing the door with a piece of paper in between the window and the rubber. If you can pull it out feeling tension it is good. If the paper rips, too tight and if the paper slides out , too loose.

hey bill, is that the bolt on the top of the door frame? On the you tube corvette cutaway vids they show an adjustment on the regulator that also adjusts tilt, but I cannot find it. I did use the bolt you mention when I put in the weatherstrip, mainly to alleviate wind noise. I did not try the paper rick
