My new to me 96 base showed me on my first nighttime drive that the headlights were not good. I started with new fog lights http://www.ebay.com/itm/132038104357...chn=em&vxp=mtr
I then ordered new headlights J. W. Speaker 8900's
I could not be happier with the result. Way Way brighter. I only needed one of the two adapters if anyone needs one (have to buy two but only need one). Dan
Thanks for the info, might try the fog light route first. My headlights are original believe or not (don't drive a lot at night) but they have definitely faded over the 21 years!
As for the headlights, I assumed being LED they are pretty light?
Probably be a lot easier for the motor to flip them up, heard the heavy glass replacements many people use might be the reason so many of our headlights motors (or bushings) go sooner rather then later.

NO, Much much heavier than the stock. Aluminum rear case. I did not weigh but maybe 10 times heavier.
