window regulators
I have the drivers door regulator installed and have been trying to adjust the window for about 14 hours now. The glass was already out when I got the job, so I have no idea where it was to begin with.
It goes up and down much faster than the stock '85 one, but I can't seem to figure out how to adjust the window so it doesn't fit so tight at the top corner in the front where it contacts the seal or weatherstrip. I would really like to get the drivers side done before I dive into the passenger side.
At least it's still in place.
Thanks for any and all tips, tricks, info you would have.

fairly easy job - the only thing you need to be careful of is measuring, and measuring, and measuring the two bottom holes on each door, drilling the holes, and flipping the power/ground wire on the RH motor assembly. everything else fell into place. final window alignment(s) was easier than expected - I used these instructions as reference - http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/cor...w-adjustments/ . while you have things apart, clean and lube all power/manual door lock and key lock linkage and clips.
a couple years now, and no issues. the only parts I had to scrounge was the rubber bumper stop in each door. a big thanks to the forum member indallas1978 for sending me a couple freebees.
