Hey gang
Has anyone else noticed how slow the forum operates since Capital One started advertising the GM Card?


I have FOUR Capital One links loading at the same time and they slow the forum till it is virtually unusable.

Not seeing any reduction of speed issues. Don't see anything that deals with Capital One. Maybe try using AdBlocker or other similar software.

Might want to post something in the "Help" section of the forum.

It is possible your computer is infected.

chrome + adblocker.

i donate 100$ usd per year to the forum so i do t have any issues with blocking ads.

Log in on your phone or tablet, etc. See if it's better. I agree in that it sounds like your computer has done spam/ adware etc. I actually only use my phone and switch the forum to non mobile view.

If I log in, I get no popups or ads.

I'm with the Chrome and Adblocker crowd. I see no popups or ads when logged in, yet Adblocker says it has blocked 9 ads on the General Discussion page.
