New Corvette owner (first one) and new member.

I purchased a 1994 Competition Yellow with 49K miles (80K Km) that is in great shape (IMO)
Looking forward in reading some old posts here and contributing what I can in future. Glad such a wonderful resource exists.

I'll try to attach a few pics here

Welcome to the club! Lots of great info here. Nice job on getting a low mileage car, but, that shouldn't stop you from driving it as much as possible. We love pics!

Thanks for all the welcomes....

I live in Oshawa Ontario it's on Lake Ontario just 50 k east of Toronto. What we call the GTA.

I plan on driving it just not in winter so goes away soon as the...white stuff hits the ground here (we call it SALT)

I have a few other cars to get some seat time in too now that summer is finally here in Southern Ontario

Thanks for the info on a fall color cruise. If you have the link post it here I might remember...but might not too..

Will post pics as soon as I can figure out how to resize the image so it will accept them...been a while since I had to make something SOO small!!!

Sorry missed this one in my reply. It's an Automatic. Would love a 6 spd but can't have it ALL when looking used for specific years and mileage and price range...I think I figured out the attachment thing too..let's try that one again here!!!

Funny thing is I waved at 2 vette owners yesterday while driving mine. One was a nice late 70's C3 the other was an earlier (84-86 C4) both looked right at me and did nothing?

But like with my Jeep and bike and roadsters I always wave at other like vehicles while driving mine. I think it's good manners if someone waves at you. Maybe they get waved at a lot (with and without all fingers raised so don't see it as being unique or necessary. But I'll still do it...if you see a yellow vette and they don't wave..it's likely not me

Yea, I hate when I get "stood up on a wave".... Camaraderie is 1/2 the fun of Vette ownership.

Welcome to the forum and sweet looking ride there. Some people wave and some don't - that's life and their loss. I wave whether in the Vette or in the truck. Many don't wave back so don't take it personal.
