Default coolant leak, water pump?

ive had this 93 Corvette for a little over a week, everyday i go out to the garage i find something new to fix!..
today while it was running, it was pooling up some antifreeze/water middle front of the motor, though i can't "see" where its leaking from, is it a good best its the water pump?

My first bet would be a radiator or heater hose. Borrow a pressure tester from a parts store and you will see where it is coming from. Dan

As Whaleman said, get a pressure tester as that will give you instant visibility on your leak. Keep an eye on the water pump as a leaky pump could potentially mess up your Opti.

Or, if your water pump is toast, swap out your Opti as long as you are in there?

Agree on pressure testing to help track down your leak. Something else that may help. If you use something like Prestone, the color fluoresces under black light and that helps finding leaks. I have a hose on my 86 (L98) that goes between the block and TPI and had a crack in it so it was leaking above and behind the water pump. Thing was it didn't leak till it was pressurized.

For a quick check of the water pump, put a few paper towels under the pump, run the car a few minites , then see if there's a wet spot on the towels.....WW

Put it up on a set of ramps, chock the back wheels, grab a flashlight, start it up, crawl underneath and see where it is coming from. Might just be a hose. if it's puddling up that quick, you should be able to see it.
