No speedometer or odometer
On fuel economy run at eureka springs and lost speedometer and odometer. Arks and abs and service soon light came on. Was unable to see the odometer reading until I was back and my total mileage was less than the route. Went about three miles and odometer was still stuck. I disconnected the battery to reset computer than it worked again. Stopped at orioles to check codes as I had brought obd2 rather than the obd1 scanner. No codes were listed.
Not sure what was going on. Sound like I will be disqualified. I came all the way from Michigan for that event. Bummed!

I could reset the computer by discounting the battery but when it lugged a little it would make clunking noise and the lights would come on and lose speedometer. The odometer would show, just stayed on the same mileage. It would also click off the cruise and it would not go back on. It was mentioned that the sensor is mounted on top of differential, is that for a different year?
