Noticed you have LS1 coils mounted to the valve covers with the EFI connection brackets. Their website last I looked said something about not working with LT1 valve covers due to a unique grommet. Did you have any issues?
The EFI brackets only work with the 92 Magnesium Valve Covers. The composite valve covers are the ones the brackets won't work with. The only issue I had was fitment issues with the coils. The specific style bracket I bough puts some of the coils in the way of the AIR piping. It will be a stretch to get the motor out with the bell housing attached. I think it could be done if you pull from the front, but I don't think there was near enough room to pull from the side with the bellhousing attached. The job isn't bad if you have all of the equipment needed for the job. I couldn't imagine doing it without the happy hooker.

Do you have/or are you planning to switch to LTCC?
If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Thanks, I have a hoist and I've done motor swaps before, just not on a C4 yet. I was planning from the side so I could leave the hood on. No biggie if I have to pull the trans/bellhousing first but wouldve been nice to leave the exhaust and C beam in place, less work.

I've had LTCC kit for probably more than 5 years now, no issues. I run fabricated aluminum valve covers that the LS1 coils bolt to, but with the cam swap I'm hoping to go back to the LT1 plastic valve covers. Guess the EFI Connection brackets are out for me, will have to find something else. Easy to fabricate something that works, hard to fabricate something that's pretty.

Jmgtp, nice to hear you've been on LTCC that long. I have it as well. Sorry to go off topic Connor. But do you guys think the timing cover gasket and front hub are doable without engine removal?

Timing cover gasket will be very doable, the hub gasket imo almost impossible without lifting the motor up. I think there is a special hub puller made for the c4 lt1 if I'm remembering correctly. Also something to note, none of the hub installers that you can rent from autocrats stores will work with the lt1. What you need to do is either go to a hardware store and get something like a B8 7/16" (I think) threaded rod and a Grade 8 washers of varying sizes that will engage the hub and a nut to push the hub on. That is unless you already have a way to push it back on.

Good luck!
