Default Need help aligning my bumper

Anyone know what bolts exactly I have to loosen to move my bumper towards the driver side a bit? Or could this be a hood alignment issue?

How does the other side line up? FWIW body component alignment was far more critical on the C5 thian on our C4's. There are a couple of panel gaps that I"m no thrilled with on my 95. That may be just the way it is.

Here is a thread that shows a picture of the from adjustment bolts.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...with-pics.html

There are shims that adjust the depth and holes are slotted up and down for that adjustment.

Yeah, looks like you will have to loosen lots of your bolts and then "pull" it to the outboard side of the bumper. You passenger side look good (so leave it snug by only a couple of bolts) and it only looks like you need 1/2 min max.

Pop beer, loosen bolts, pop second beer, tug and snug till aligned and pop you third, fourth and fifth beer as a celebration. 30 minutes max.

Swear and stomp if your wrench slips and you chip the paint. Then reach for the hard stuff.

If it's not in the linked thread (post 4), you should know the hood aligns to the car (doors) first...then the bumper to the hood. If the hood-door panel gaps appear correct, then it's the bumper. If not, it might just be the hood.

Sometimes life's a compromise. If your hood is wider than your bumper, your best compromise may be to lift the bumper a little bit, and have an equal difference in the alignment at both the RH and the LH ends of the bumper. Those slots mentioned in my previous post will allow you to do that. It's a "cut-and-try" process. Have patience!
