Was told that there is a difference in GM jacks between the years 90-93 and 94-96. Never heard this before. Have a small wager on this. I say there is no difference, even if they have difference GM part numbers. Does anyone know if they are the same.
Thanks
Personally I doubt there's a difference. In fact I have a 90's Pontiac jack in my 86 which works just fine. About the only way to nail it down for sure is look up the part numbers on the 2 jacks and see if they're the same or not.
If you bought a jack over the counter after maybe '93 you got the same jack and they maybe should have offered or given you an additional label if for a '92 or earlier. What the label says I've no idea.
I've got some very old GM SPO catalogs and I can document maybe 5 different part #'s. Differences?
