Datamaster Authorization Code Work-A-Round
The Fix… is FREE… but…..
… requires you to have a laptop you can devote exclusively to running Datamaster. I used an old Windows 7 laptop I retired several years ago.
… requires a clean installation of Windows 10. You could buy the installation disc/USB at Best Buy for $119 OR you can download it for FREE from Microsoft. You will need to download 2 files, RefreshWindowsTool and Media Creation Tool.
… when doing the clean re-installation, choose to format the “C:” drive; also remove any factory installed recovery partitions.
… install Datamaster.
… set Windows10 Datamaster compatibility to operate in XP Service Pack3 mode
The Result…
You get to use Datamaster another 20 times. Need another 20? Save any data recordings you wish to keep and do ANOTHER clean install of Windows 10. Thirty minutes later you are good to go.
NOTE: Many older computers have a partition set aside to re-install the operating system. My old Win XP can do it but the display electronics are failing, otherwise even this old operating system can be re-used. My laptop with Win7 also did a clean re-install.

If they sold it to you with the expectation of unlimited usage with no time limits, you may have a law case against them.
You would have to read the fine print of the EULA and/or have a lawyer read it. If it is important enough to everyone, pool together the fee and have a lawyer experienced in these matters read the EULA.
If there was no language specifying that once they end-of-lifed/abandoned it specifying it that the sales agreements were invalidated and YOU AGREED to it, then you and if enough folks were involved, there could be a class action lawsuit filed.

This way each time you reboot the virtual machine it resets the 20 limit counter.
TTS appears to have licensed the software's copyrights from the owner of record (whoever that might be). The PDF file is locked... sorry for the screen capture. TTS continues to offer Datamaster specific to motorcycle tuning. Probably indicates TTS maintains its license with the owner of record.
