Those seats look amazing in your C4. I also have a two-tone (red/black) theme inside my Torch Red 96 Coupe. My seats could benefit from a refresher (they are currently all black base seats, but I'd like two-tone red/black). A few questions for you:
-exactly how close do the new seat covers match the stock Torch Red interior (like the door panels)?
-can you explain your “sport” seat combo?
-can you share a few pics of your door panels?
here is a shot of mine, from this past summer's local car show (I took home 1st place in my division!):

For my sport seat combo I used:
- Sport seat frames
- Lower side bolster foam from a set of used Sport seats
- Foam from base seats
I grafted the lower side bolster foam to the base seats (cut the base foam and glued the sport pieces to it) I also carved out the back of the foam to fit the bladders for lumbar support.
I then had the guy mention above make covers, originally these seats used a couple rails to lock the foam to the frame, since my setup was not stock, I ended up hog ringing the seats to the frame and the fit is perfect.
The seats are totally comfortable to me as I really preferred the base seat design but wanted the full sport functions
Down side to this is I needed to buy a set of used Sport seats to get the foam I needed, but I found a pair for a really good price..
I can get pictures of the door panels, anything in particular you want of them?

Any chance you took photos of the conversion process? re: cutting the foams.
Was also curious to see your door panels - I noticed a black area towards the front of them, didn't look stock.
Here is a close up of the passenger panel (I can't find a driver side pic)
I have a 6.5" mid bass speaker in each door and that is the grille (I have a tweeter and 4" in the sill)
Carpet is a bit warn on the grilles so that is on my list to get done as well
so that explains the extra black areas on your panels - speaker grills. very nice.
I will be contacting you for guidance on this sport seat conversion idea, perhaps next month or so, as I gather parts. I know I will have questions, and your experience would be great. Let me know if you prefer PMs for that, or if I should create a thread about it for others to see/learn.

OMG! Beautiful. Makes my interior look like a homeless encampment.
