I had an interview about C4 ownership as part of a buyers guide for classic car weekly, a paper in the UK. The guide was how to buy a Corvette for under £10k. In the end they said the ZR1 was the best to buy for "not much more" IE about double what I paid for my L98 6 speed!!
They asked for photo of me with the car, I sent them a nice one next to Vianden castle in Luxembourg and they cropped it right out haha!
Nice to hear from another Brit! I have a '93 Convertible which I plan to keep for a long time. Because of this, I only drive it in the dry, which is a problem at the moment!!
I agree with you about the performance and handling - especially since I replaced all the tired original suspension bushed with poly. It's great to drive, and a sensible size for UK roads.
