I had to pull the carpet over the wheel well in order to locate the antenna relay. Now that I know where it is, it's not even necessary to move it. Just fold back the carpet flap in the back corner.

The harness/connector for a '92 vert is under the carpet in the rear (dare i say Cargo area) of the drivers side (back in the corner by the speaker) just peel back the corner of the carpet and dig around

also a good note if you do disconnect it, there is actually a difference in reception once you get out of metro areas so i would suggest disconnecting it in the "up" position (providing the appearance doesn't bother you)
