I agree driving a POS has some real truth to it. before I bought the bmw I was driving a 2010 Volvo that wasn't a POS but had 110k miles and wasn't worth much. this ordeal would not have bothered me nearly as much if I was driving my Volvo that I traded in on the BMW last year. this ahole could of killed someone. I work too hard for what I have to have some ahole come along and destroy it intentionally. funny thing is he was driving a newer SUV. not a POS. I'm pissed now that I didn't record them. thanks for all the replies, Nutsy
But let's say that you did. Now what? You have an uphill battle You say you work? How much is your time worth? How much is he worth? You spend all the time to get a judgment assuming you do, its only worth zero till you collect Ask me how I know
I'd just move on, note to move out of the way of fsster cars mext time, amd be glad you were driving some shitty german economy car and not your Corvette. Use touch up paint on the chips if they bother you.
... plus get his license number. I don't flip the Bird, or anything else provocative anymore. Too many Borderline Personality disorders out there. If someone should become aggressive, get out of their vehicle and approach in a threatening manner, well, I have my carry weapon.
Usually, fate intervenes with those folks, I can't tell you how many times I have seen them further down the road in a ditch, or pulled over by a cop. The last guy passed me on a two lane, hilly road with a double yellow line. Speed limit was 35, I was doing about 40. He passed me on a blind hill going at least 60. Cop got him about a mile further down the road. I pulled over and talked to the cop, who added an illegal pass to his speeding citation - an extra $300 fine plus points.
Well, I understand the frustration for sure, and I know Id be just as angry as you, BUT, you cant undo what was done... Water under the bridge. He will get what is due to him in one way or another. Move forward and try to understand that not everyone is a respectful person when it comes to others. I AM sorry this happened to you though.
