Common prices. many on here are ignorant to the fact that paint jobs are about prep work mostly, also that cost does not equal quality.

Lots of body shops are small businesses and rely on repeat work and word of mouth, so they typically do a decent job and they are fair prices, due to lower overhead. Generally a real body man will take pride in his craft especially if it his shop.

Sure if you have some hack "shoot" the car you'll get that, but IMO a macco guy will out paint most people here that think they can paint.

People here refuse to listen to the idea a decent paint job can be had for 2500, because they are used to being raked over the coals, or they here stories from somebody with more money than sense to do real research.

Glad to see you got this handled, and great that is was not too bad all things considered.

what's frustrating to me is that I hear this said yet I can't seem to find this benevolent c4 painter that will do a good job for this price.. wish I could.

pretty much. many reputable shops here in LA that can handle the corvette. I'm going to hold off on painting mine for a bit. maybe in a year. no rush.
