I know this may sound like a stupid question, but here goes. I've been reading alot lately about the Callaway Twin Turbo C4s of the past, and I was wondering if there is still anyone who would do a conversion for my C4? If so, does anyone know what the price of that might be (ballpark)?
No, there aren't any kits. It was all custom work. I read that there were problems running the exhaust and he ended up running pipes inside the frame. It would be very expensive to duplicate.
The TT car's were all L98's when the LT1's came out in '92 with there different injection systems it made turbo charging inadequate. If you are looking for a Callaway Conversion for your Corvette you will need to go with a Supernatural. But I have heard a lot about them being unreliable...
You might want to pick up the December copy of Corvette Fever. There's some articles on superchargers and who makes them.
There is even a twin turbo setup in that edition made by Nelson Racing. The whole December issue is about Forced Induction and would help you make your decision...

Actually slow sales, the increase cost of the job, and Chevy putting all its marketing dollars on the ZR1 was the reason the TT was axed.
Not to mention Chevy didn't hold up their end of the deal when it came to warranty work on the Callaways. Callaway walked away with a pretty bad taste in their mouths.

This was the sentiment expressed by D. McLellan in "Corvette From the Inside". Just finished reading it, highly recommended. Also, I think the Callaway TT setup was about a $15K investment  I'm guessing it comes down to how much do you want to spend:)?
lot's of relpies here but...to clear up a few myths, here's the deal...
The RPO B2K in 87 was 20 grand and wound up being close to 30 grand by 1991 (without the Aerobody)
The Air inlet was what got routed through the front frame member, known as the "Wonderbar"
The exhaust was basicly stock, after the midpipe (except on 87's w/ the "megaphones" and of course the 88 "recall exhaust"...
Supernaturals being unreliable... That is a TOTAL LOAD OF :bs
Anyways, Callaway stopped the TT production for a few reasons, most which Surf&Sun mentioned already. If you would like a Twin Turbo car, I would suggest you sell yours for a Callaway or simply buy a Callaway for a 2nd Vette :)
I hope this helps... you can also find Callaway info at the corvetteactioncenter.com in the Callaway section
