Default AC Delco shocks?

Has anyone purchased stock AC Delco shocks for their early C4? I've seen set's of all 4 for only around $120.00. Not looking for high performance or high priced shocks. Just factory replacements and I want to know if they're of good quality.

Not EARLY C4. Mine is 96, but I'm using AC Delco shocks. I'm not the least unhappy with them. I think the ones I bought were called "Professional Premium."

I'd go with KYBs before I went that route.

I know most of the OEM delcos now (at least on the trucks) are partnership products between delco and bilstein. While not the same as real bilstein shocks they are decent. I would speculate the delcos for c4s are more than likely similar.

The put the cheapest AC Delco front shocks I could buy on my 95.

They work great. Im 100% satisfied with this product. I think I got the pair for 40 bucks new from an ebay vendor.

Even if it doesn't specify AC Delco name brand, I've seen some just listed as OEM factory shocks. I guess they're very similar to AC Delco originals.

I had ac delcos they(1 yr old) started making knocking noises in the rear, then when I was replacing them with KYB, I found the left front jammed up. Mine were made in Mexico I believe.
KYB FTW

If I bought enough shocks from Bilstein, I can have them slap whatever label on them. Call it "Private Label". That said, we can have them make a lower quality item for less money and let your imagination run wild with "It comes out of the same factory as......". Same factory, SAME SPECS, yes. Same factory, DIFFERENT SPECS, that is another story.
