Driver window won't go up

Driver window won't go up
Lowering window and something went "snap" at the bottom,now window won't move. Motor works That is cable driven, correct? Will I have to replace entire regulator or can cable just be replaced.
EDIT: Jumped the gun on this post. Found replacement strap on J. B.'s, all should be well I hope. Looks like it might even be an easy job.

I am not sure how to replace the ribbon because I replaced mine with a newer scissor style. This should work for you either way.
