Re: Winter (aldo802)
Well lets see :
Last many years there has been no significant snowfall in the DC area
I live real close to the major road that gets me to work
I've driven rear wheel drive cars before in the snow
Just put a set of all season rated tires on the vette
So looks like mine isn't going under cover for the winter :D
I'll be driving it except for the weekends when I put it in a garage to work on it.
It's snowing in S Dakota as I type this. The Vette is tucked away. :cry So is my Sebring, so I drove my 88 Accord to work today. Let that car take the salt and sand.... :D
I don't put mine away ........I run it all year around ........it's my only car ...... and I have a lot of experience with snow driving ..........and I prefer rear drive cars :seeya
I drove mine in every winter but the last two since I've owned it. When the roads clear, I'll drive it. They sand and salt the heck out of the roads...but I can't take letting it just sit there.
To those who drive theirs in the winter, has the salt messed up the underbody of the car at all?? I just got mine and it has never seen a winter as it was from Florida, now that I have brought it back to Michigan I am really considering just parking it in the garage for the winter, but its my only car
