Well, can you give us a clue as to how good of a deal you got? I have been looking at one that is in about the same shape, but auto, 2.59. Little less miles, but I believe the price is way too high at just under 10k
After getting it, it was not a very good deal. Small things need to be done and one major thing in my opion.
Little things include dim digital display, bad spot on rear carpet, broken console lid, bad speaker, needs correct low profile windshield wipers, high low beam switch needs adjusting, parking brake needs to be cleaned and reset, targa top replaced at sometime but has no real cracks, rear speaker boise emblem missing and some rust on filler tube neck caused by a plugged drain, dried out door and targa rubber seals and a cracked lower front fender flare.
The major problem is the paint with more oxidation than I thought. Plus adiscoloration of the front and rear bumpers.
The little things will cost about $1200 for parts and have no idea what a paint job will cost, sure it will be a lot!
Will be adding a CAGS bypass.
Engine runs good and pulls strong.
Will do a complete service from front to rear.
No doubt will be losing money, but it is a Ruby!
As a life long user of Zaino, I bought this for my 2003 Toyota Avalon(beater). It works great and really revived the paint (heavy oxidation), try it....I did it by hand, you just need to do a 18" x 18" section at a time and take breaks
