MY 1985 Clear top needs resealed and suggestions on what glue to use will 3M-08690 work appropriately? I also see a 3M 08609
open for suggestions

Here's a link to a post with information on a similar situation. I re-bonded my roof about ten years ago, and it's doing fine. Using other adhesives may work for a short time, but it's risky! You definitely don't want to join the FRC!*
