Works great installs in place of the top. Be sure to get one for your year as the top mounting changed a few times.

I just read some of the reviews for the Vette2Vette No Flex Kit. I might have to get one for my vert. I drove my 96 vert home from New Jersey to New York with the hardtop on. When I got home I took the hard top off probably never to go on again. There was a big difference in the handling and body flex. By now I have gotten use to the way it drives.

I bought one from him earlier this year. At that point in time he told me he is selling the tools that he uses to make them to somebody else. I told him he should pass on that person's information to the people on the Corvette forum because they are sought after. He never replied, but I know he is a real busy man

Melting Slicks
It works very well for what it is. My car felt stiffer with the brace than it did with the regular top installed. However, it defeats the purpose of having an open targa top in my opinion.

The top has been off my 89 for years. It is stored in the back. Freeway, surface streets. I live in S. Calif. so I can drive all year. Never noticed any difference.
