I'm looking at a 93 coupe with ratty black interior. How tough is it to replace it? The price at Corvette America seems to be about 2500. Also what about changing it to red?
I don't know about cost, but being that I have a red interior let me tell you, it's VERY pimp looking! I get compliments on it all the time. It really sets off the car and if you are thinking about going with a red interior, do it! :yesnod:
EDIT: Of course, the interior color looking good depends on the exterior color. I don't think a red interior would look good with the 40th package. Torch Red, Arctic White, and Black are the only colors I'd match with a red interior.
I just put red into my Charcoal Gray 91. Almost all of the pieces cost $750 and were out of a low miles, totaled 95. Some pieces are missing, the tunnel carpet, door panels, and the carpet under the right side of the dash.
All of it was easy to install, just takes time to do it right
