My buddy has a 98 Trans Am with the Ls1, we went out messing around one night and decided to race our cars against each other. I took him off the line until 60 mph and then he pulled on me. Now I expected that but on the way home he punched it and then I punched it, (both auto's) I pulled on him a little. Is this possible?
My friend also has a 98 T/A ( seriously) and my 90 does not beat him to 60 and is lost on the hi-way. I can on occasion hang with him out of the hole to maybe 40 if i hook. Just my observasion.
I should of told you guys, I have one of the special limited edition L98 motors! J/K  :D I usually get him from dead stop to about 50mph and then he pulls away pretty good. He hit the passing gear and pulled past me at 60mph and then let off and I hit the passing gear when he let off and when he went to do It again It didn't kick back down, That's why I pulled he told me. That is reasonable. But now I can beat him in any race because right after we parted ways he put his car in a huge ditch. :smash: :blueangel:
